Puerto del Rosario is the capital of the Spanish island of Fuerteventura, which is one of the Canary Islands, and the town's name means Port of the Rosary. The town lies on the island's eastern coast and the central part of the town, away from the port, is where visitors will find many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and hotels, many of which are located around Calle Leon y Castillo, which leads to the port, and the Avenida Juan de Betancourt. Things to do and see in this part of the island include the Casa Museo de Unamuno which is an interesting and popular museum.
