Hy-Line Cruises is a family-run operator based in Massachusetts, USA, boasting the second largest ferry and cruise passenger service from Nantucket to Hyannis and Cape Cod to the nearby island of Martha’s Vineyard.

The company began in 1962 under the name Hyannis Harbor Tours, and was operated by brothers Richard and Robert Scudder, with sightseeing trips as their primary focus. Although the business still offers tours, Hy-Line Cruises now operates a top-quality ferry service and has been voted the ‘number one boat line’ for the last twelve years by Nantucket’s local newspaper. From its humble beginnings, operating just one boat with three employees, Hy-Line Cruises is now staffed by over three hundred and fifty people, including a hundred year-round workers.

Free Wi-Fi is available on board their large, high-speed catamarans, so a comfortable and enjoyable journey is guaranteed every time. It’s also worth noting that, due to laws held by the local ferry authority, all of Hy-Line Cruise’s vessels are passenger only.
