Seatours

Seatours is one of Iceland’s leading tourist ferry operators, offering routes from the idyllic coastal town of Stykkisholmur on the west coast, across Breidafjordur Bay, to Brjanslaekur in the northwest.

The company began as a tour guide operator around Breidafjordur Bay in 1986, but soon expanded and introduced a car ferry service, becoming the largest of its kind on the west coast of Iceland.

Ferry Baldur, the modern passenger vessel, can carry a wide range of vehicles as well, including large cars, trailers and mobile homes. Also, during the summer months, the ferry occasionally stops over at Flatey Island, a charming islet filled with colourful 19th Century houses, a hotel and an abundant birdlife, offering excellent value for money.

Throughout the high season, Seatours also increases their staff to over 50 highly knowledgeable team members, who are on hand to make sure you have the most enjoyable experience possible in one of the country’s most attractive areas.
