About New Providence

New Providence is the most populous island in the Bahamas, 180 miles to the east of Miami, Florida in the USA. This 21 mile-long island offers high-energy experiences in beautiful surroundings, with a wide range of thrilling activities like 50-foot waterslides and stunning beaches hosting late-night parties. This is apparent none more so than in the capital city, Nassau, with its vibrant downtown and bargaining market sellers. However, New Providence is not without its fascinating cultural heritage. Centuries-old ruins can be found in the capital alongside brilliant museums giving detailed insights into the island’s dealings with pirates, providing fun for all the family. Given its central location in the Bahamas, New Providence is a good departure point for many popular destinations in the archipelago, with numerous routes departing Nassau on the north east coast.

About Eleuthera

Eleuthera is an island in the Bahamas measuring approximately 110 miles long and just a mile wide in some areas. Given that it faces 2 different seas, the Caribbean and the Pacific, Eleuthera offers a wealth of superb beaches ranging from vast stretches of pink sand to small, sheltered coves. Add a slow-paced lifestyle to the mix and you have one of the most relaxing island destinations in the world. For more energetic activities, Eleuthera has some incredible diving spots, too, including an enormous coral reef called ‘Devil’s Backbone’, so it’s no wonder it was recently named as ‘the best island in the Caribbean’ by 'Travel & Leisure' magazine. As a long, slender stretch of land, Eleuthera has numerous ports spread along its coastline, with numerous sailings provided to the Bahamian capital of Nassau on New Providence to the west.
