Port Denarua is on a small private island in the northwest corner of Fiji’s mainland, Viti Levu. It is the main gateway to some of the beautiful islets along the northwest coast and is just twenty minutes from Nadi International Airport by car. One of the many islands belonging to the Manamuca Islands, Matamanoa Island lays to the west coast of Fiji. The one ferry crossing from Matamanoa is to Denerau on the west coast of Fiji; the twice daily crossing lasts just over an hour and is the gateway to mainland Fiji. For tourists who desire a tranquil environment offering an abundance of activities, Matamanoa is the perfect holiday destination. Hours can be spent relaxing on the luxurious beaches whilst sampling the delicious food and drink, especially in the summer months when the temperatures reach enjoyably high levels.
