Brodick Guide

Brodick Ferry Port

Brodick Harbour is the main ferry terminal on the Isle of Arran, offering frequent crossings to Ardrossan on the Scottish mainland. The port is located just off the A841 on the east coast and provides a large waiting area, toilets and baby changing facilities. Just outside the building, you will find a taxi rank, bus stop and car parking spaces. Whilst you wait to depart, you can enjoy one of the excellent family-owned restaurants nearby or, if you have the time, play a few holes on the village’s excellent golf course. Brodick has a rich and varied wildlife, so be on the lookout for dolphins, seals and basking sharks en route to Ardrossan.

Troon Guide

Troon Ferry Port

Troon ferry port can be found just north of Ayr & Prestwick on the West coast of Scotland on the Firth of Clyde and is well sheltered by the Isle of Arran across the water. Regular ferry services connect Troon with Northern Ireland which is just 70 nautical miles away. In addition to providing a gateway to the UK mainland from Northern Ireland, Troon is also West Scotland's principal fishing port. Troon itself is a charming destination. Well known to the golf enthusiast, Troon has many hotels and B&Bs, along with a variety of facilities on the esplanade, which make it popular with tourists.
