The Port of Ballen lies on the east coast of Samsø in Denmark, which is the world’s first 100% renewable energy powered island. The harbour is fairly small, providing frequent sailings to Kalundborg to the south-east. There are a few restaurants and cafes in Ballen, all offering lovely views along the coast. The beach is very popular with visitors as well, boasting long stretches of pristine sand.
