The Spanish town of Alcudia is located on the island of Majorca in the Balearic Islands. It is a major centre for tourism on the island and is popular with families. The Port d'Alcudia and Platja d'Alcudia parts of the town, along the 14 km long beach that runs all the way to Can Picafort, is where most of the hotels can be found.
For visitors planning to travel to Alcúdia by car or motorbike, then you will have to get a ferry which operate daily from Barcelona, Denia and Valencia to Mallorca. During the busy summer months there are additional direct services to Barcelona. The normal journey time is 7 hours but this can be reduced to 3 hours if a Fast-Ferry is taken.
