TESO

TESO is a Dutch operator that provide a regular ferry service from Den Helder to Texel. They have been operating this route from Texel to mainland Holland since 1907 and were founded by the native islanders. TESO have since grown into one of the leading operators in the region, transporting approximately 4 million passengers each year.

The company currently have a fleet of 2 ships used for passenger transport. The Texelstroom (2) is a hybrid ferry capable of transporting up to 1,750 passengers and 350 cars in a single journey, while Dr. Wagemaker (3) is capable of transporting up to 1,750 passengers and 320 cars in a single journey. Both vessels are designed to meet the highest safety requirements, captained by an experienced team.

TESO pride themselves on eco-friendly travel and have managed to increase CO2 neutrality by 30% due to the use of biodiesel.
