Located in the Ionian Sea, the Greek island of Corfu is the second largest of the Ionian Islands. Also called Corfu is the island's largest city and is home to the Ionian University. The island is popular with tourists who flock there to enjoy the island's excellent beaches and its mild Mediterranean climate.
